Our Graphic Novel and Patreon.com

A Plight for CheeseMy sister Theresa, and I have been developing a graphic novel called, A Plight for cheese. It’s a fun story about a team of rats who are getting ready for an After-Thanksgiving scrap feast. But, when one of the human guests brings a round of Munster cheese and a fierce cat named Muffin, all of their plans change. They want that cheese, but in order to avoid the cat, they’ll need a brave scout to make sure the coast is clear. Everything goes awry when a timid rat named Herman accidentally volunteers for the job. As things get perilous, will Herman be able to gather his courage and save his friends? Or will his fears get the better of him?

We are now continuing to develop this story on a site called, Patreon.com. But few know what patreon.com is. So in this post, I’m going to explain. It is a site where artists and people with other talents can share their work with the world. It is also a site where those who appreciate these people’s art can become an artist’s Patron and support them by giving their favorite artisans a monthly donation. It’s kind of like a subscription to a magazine, except that the Patron is the one who decides how much he or she wants to give their artist. Our completed graphic novel pages will be free for the public to see on Patreon, but we will give our Patrons a special, behind the scenes view of our progressing art. Patrons who donate $5 or more will also have access to painting videos showing the development of our illustrations.

We will be very thankful to all of our Patrons. Their support will help us to make ends meet and bring this graphic novel to completion. Thanks for stopping by, I am so excited about this project, and I hope you’ll join the adventure! Check us out at https://www.patreon.com/TwoSisters?ty=h
