Good Morning Monday! A Plight for Cheese Graphic Novel (Sneak Peek)

0920151321Good morning everyone! Here’s another character from our graphic novel named, Monty Jack. He’s the shortest rat of the bunch. His character is very honest and blunt, somewhat moody and he is a realist; always keeping his brother in check. I’ll introduce his brother, Colby Jack, next week! Monty and his brother are in charge of making sure that all of their equipment is together for getting the food. And also carrying the food back to the hole.  I began sketching out my scenes last week and rested on number 11. I have many more to go ! As soon as I start coloring my scenes, I’m planning on making some speed painting videos. All of this is new to me, so you’ll probably watch me make many mistakes, but hopefully also get better and better as I go along! 😀 Thank you for keeping up with my project. For those of you who don’t know what this graphic novel is about, I’ll post the plot synopsis below.

Plot Synopsis:

The holidays are here and that means the rats have their work cut out for them. As the turkey bakes in the oven and the human guests arrive, the rats prepare themselves for an after Thanksgiving scrap feast. But, when one of the guests brings a round of Munster cheese and a ferocious cat named Muffin, all of their plans change. The rats want to get that cheese, but if they’re going to avoid the cat, they’ll need a brave scout to go ahead of the Team and pave the way. Their mission goes awry when a timid rat named Herman accidentally volunteers for the job. As things turn perilous, will Herman be able to conquer his fears and save his friends? Or will his cowardly nature get the better of him?
